Footie Mob offers tickets to all members in good standing and their companions/friends/family in the designated away supporters section for all Away Supporters Section.

The only way to access tickets in the away supporter’s section is by purchasing through a recognized supporter group. You may purchase as many tickets as you need for your traveling group, but at least one active member of Footie Mob must be present at the match. MLS Code of Conduct applies for all away matches.

All available away tickets are listed in our webshop for logged-in members to purchase.

The Footie Mob Travel Committee coordinates travel plans for some matches with hotel and transportation packages. Information about travel to specific matches is available as Events under our Facebook group, or can be provided by emailing travel@footiemob.com.

2023 Away Supporters Travel FAQ

  • I’m a Season Ticket Member, how do I get my free away match tickets?
    You must opt-in to the program by Feb 1, 2023. If you have not opted in on emails that were sent out by the ticketing staff, email awaymatchtickets@atlutd.com and provide them with your STM account number on or before Feb 1, 2023, to confirm your participation. Once you’ve opted in, you will receive an email to order your away match tickets for the individual matches you want to attend.

  • Where are the away match tickets located?
    Tickets will be in the designated away supporters section. For some matches, supplemental tickets adjacent to the designated away section will be secured. In very rare cases with exceptionally high demand, tickets not adjacent to the away sections may be secured. You can not request a specific seat location regardless of your existing season ticket locations.

  • Will the away section still be General Admission? What expectations should I have in an away supporters section?
    The away match seating will continue to be treated as general admission, the same as our own Supporters Section. You should expect standing, chanting, beer showers, shirtlessness, smaller flags, banners, musical instruments/drums where permitted and traveling supporters willing to bring them in, and potentially NSFW language, though usually scaled back somewhat due to crowd size. BAFs are very typically not allowed in away stadiums. If this is something you have concerns with, you can always opt to purchase away match tickets directly from the away club or via the secondary market depending on availability in another section. You can not request seating locations from the AUFC ticketing team. (technically you can, but it won’t do any good).

  • I’m a Season Ticket Member, I submitted a request for a ticket, is my ticket guaranteed?
    Yes, your ticket is guaranteed by the AUFC front office.
  • I’m not a Season Ticket Member, but I’m a member of Footie Mob, can I get a ticket in the Away Supporters Section?
    YES, Footie Mob will have tickets available for purchase for all members in good standing in accordance with our existing away match purchase policies. These will be available for purchase on the Footie Mob website, accessible via login only.
  • But really, is the club going to get 500 tickets for Nashville if there are 500 people that want to go?
    Yes, we anticipate being able to ticket any supporter group member in good standing who wants to go to an away match this season. In the rare case where we are unable to secure a supplemental ticket for an SG member who is not a season ticket member as well (those are guaranteed), we will be in touch with you around 30 days prior to matchday to discuss alternative options for your match attendance.
  • How do I get my away ticket? When will I get my ticket?
    If you’re an STM, you will get an email confirming your ticket request within a couple of days of the last day to request tickets (30 days prior to matchday), if not sooner. If you purchased a ticket through Footie Mob, you will receive confirmation of your purchase. The actual tickets will be distributed either by the club for STMs or by Footie Mob travel committee volunteers around  5-7 days before the match.
  • Will my away tickets be in the ATLUTD App?
    No. The away tickets will be managed in whatever system the away club uses, and if they require an app download to access the tickets, you will need to download their app
  • Can I give back away match tickets I got super excited about when I got the email but then reason prevailed, and I realized I don’t have enough SkyMiles to go to 7 away matches this season?
    Yes. You have up to 30 days prior to the scheduled match day to request or drop away match tickets. For dropping tickets, email awaymatchtickets@atlutd.com and advise them with your STM member number and/or the primary email on the account (which makes it easier for them to find you) and let them know you no longer need the tickets.
  • I’m a Season Ticket Member, how late can I wait to ask for my tickets?
    Requests must be submitted no later than 30 days prior to matchday
  • I’m not a Season Ticket Member, how late can I wait to purchase a ticket through Footie Mob?
    Ticket sales for non-STM members will close one week prior to the request deadline for STM members.
  • What’s the deal with validation? How much will it cost me if I don’t go to the match and it’s too late to cancel my ticket order?
    Validation in the form of a selfie or group pic featuring the primary account holder on the season ticket membership at the away match will be required to be sent to awaymatchtickets@atlutd.com within 7 days of match attendance. The ticketing staff has asked that you include your STM account number and/or the primary email address on the account. If you requested tickets and the primary account holder does not show up and provide verification for the away match you will be charged for each ticket you ordered, even if the rest of your account member group attends. Away Ticket prices will be listed on the FM website once they’re up for sale and will range from $68-$30 this season.
  • You keep saying Primary Account Holder, what does that actually mean?
    The primary account holder is the person who is considered the contact and account holder for the Season Ticket Membership. This is the person who receives correspondence from ticketing. If you are married, only one spouse is getting the emails from ticketing, that person is the Primary Account Holder. If you share 2 tickets with a friend, only one person is getting the emails from ticketing, that person is the Primary Account Holder
  • Awesome, now that I know who that is, can I change the Primary Account Holder on our STM account if I only want to go to some away matches and other people in my STM account household want to go to others?
    Yes, sort of. You can make one Primary Account Holder change per season. You can not, however, change it back this season. You would have to make any further changes to the account structure at the completion of the 2023 season.
  • I have 3 season tickets, but my family can’t make all of the away matches I’m going to, can I still order 3 tickets and use them for other people not on my STM account?
    Yes, you can order as many tickets as you have on your account, with a max of 4 tickets per account available. Only the primary account holder has to show up to avoid being charged for the tickets. Once distributed, tickets will be transferrable by the ticketholder, so if you decide to be nice and grab a ticket for a mobber who needed an extra, you can send them their ticket and they do not have to enter the stadium glued to your side. The Footie Mob Travel Committee will not maintain any regular ticket transfer tracking/matching, other than to support ticket purchases for non-STM members. We recommend that you join the event pages for away matchdays or utilize our social media channels if you are looking to collaborate with another member on using additional away match tickets.
  • I’m an STM, can I buy extra tickets for friends/family and bring them with me to the away match?
    Yes if you are a member in good standing of Footie Mob. Log in to the Footie Mob website and you can purchase supplemental tickets for non-STMs to attend with you. You will be considered responsible for their in-stadium behavior etc, in accordance with the MLS code of conduct, as per prior seasons.
  • Am I signing away all rights to my image sending in these pics of me at away matches?
    It is not the intent of AUFC to use validation images for anything other than verifying your attendance. The release authorizing image use is the same release you agree to when you walk into the Benz on your existing ticket terms and conditions. You probably just never knew it was there in the first place.
  • If I’m a STM, are there any away matches that aren’t included in this benefit?
    Yes, there are. Leagues Cup, US Open Cup, Playoffs, and any other supplemental Cup tournament, or pre-season matches are not included in the away ticket benefit. The away ticket benefit is ONLY applicable for regular-season league matches. Away Supporters section tickets for these matches will continue to be available to purchase through Footie Mob for members in good standing.
  • I need accessible seating or accommodation. What do I do?
    If you are an STM, email awaymatchtickets@atlutd.com and let them know of your request. If you are not an STM, please check the box requesting ADA seating when you purchase from the FM website.  You can also email travel@footiemob.com once you’ve purchased your away ticket and we will request whatever accommodation is needed with the ticket order submission.
  • I got called up for jury duty and can’t fly out to LA now. I got covid and can’t go to the match this weekend. I’m a flight attendant and they moved my schedule to where I’ll be in Jersey and want to suffer through the stench at RBA but that’s in 2 days, can I get a ticket still? Basically, I’m special and I need an exception, what do I do
